The first storm system of the week is approaching tonight and will bring rain and wind tomorrow.

General Outlook: The first storm system of the week is approaching tonight and will bring rain and wind for much of tomorrow. Most of the rain should start around daybreak tomorrow morning, and will total about 0.25″. The low tonight should stick in the mid-40s, and it will be cloudy. Winds will increase and shift direction from easterly/southeasterly to southwesterly as the warm front comes through sometime tomorrow afternoon. Current radar shows the rain associated with this front starting to sweep across SW Washington. On the east side of Vancouver Island, you should have a few hours until the rain starts and the wind picks up. Environment Canada has a gale warning in effect for tonight and tomorrow.

Winds:
Now (21:30 4/15): From the east about 5-10 knots.
6-hour (~3:00 4/16): From the southeast, with winds from 10-20 knots.
12-hour (~9:00 4/16): Winds shifting from southeasterly to southerly as morning goes on, and will be 15-20 knots. Winds could get as high as 25 knots at times.
