Warm front moving across central Minnesota could bring isolated showers tonight as winds shift southeast to southwest. Another chance of storms on Saturday evening brings gusty winds and a chance of storms. The rest of weekend looks clear, cooler, less humid, and breezy as high pressure builds.

Current Conditions:
You are having a relatively warm afternoon with temperatures in the mid-upper 70s with light winds. For most of the day your winds were from the south-southeast, but now a warm front is passing through the area. Winds are changing to the southwest and bringing cooler temperatures. You have probably noticed that the clouds have increased with this front. There is light band of rain in central Minnesota that may bring showers in your region. 

Short-Term Forecast:
The next storm is coming down from Canada and arrive on Saturday evening. The models seem to suggest that will stay mainly north of you, but you could get some thunderstorms. Along with this storm you can expect winds to increase on Saturday afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center places the strongest storms in northern Minnesota. 

Long-Term Forecast:
After Saturday night, high pressure will start to build. You will have clear skies and cooler, less humid conditions. However, strong winds will still be present, especially Sunday. The next storm will be late Monday into Tuesday. The next forecast will give you all those details.

Winds: Shifting from the southwest to northwest at 5-10 mph
Clouds: Diminishing 

Saturday:
High: Mid 70s, slightly less humid
Low: Mid 50s
Winds: From the northwest increasing to 15 mphs by the early evening 
Clouds: Starting in the early clouds will increase

Sunday:
High: Upper 60s
Low: Low 50s
Winds: Peaking in the afternoon from the North-Northwest at 15 mph, then reducing to 5-10mph from the north-west/west overnight
Clouds: Clear 

Monday:
High: Low 70s
Low: Low 50s
Winds: From the west 5 mph
Clouds: Clear
