High pressure makes for a pleasant weekend

High pressure will move in Saturday and Sunday bringing clearer skies, lighter winds, and pleasant weather. A cold front will move through sometime Sunday night or Monday, bringing slightly cooler weather, but it will be followed again by high pressure and clearer skies.

It is currently cloudy near Quincy, IL. High will be around 65*F today, and the low tonight in the low 40s. Winds are 20mph from the NW, and gusting above 25mph. Hold on to your hats.

High pressure is moving in and bringing clear skies, lighter winds, and cooler nights for Saturday. Possible frost on Sunday morning.

Long term Forecast:
Conditions will be relatively clear and sunny due to continuing high pressure over the midwest. This ridge will remain in place on Sunday, continuing the lighter winds. High pressure will have moved out by Sunday night, followed by cooler weather with a cold front. As a result, there is a slight chance of rain on Sunday night and Monday associated with this cold front. It should be cooler on Monday; high pressure moves in again after the front, bringing more clear weather.
