Day - Rain

Rain and wind in short term, clear by midweek!

Weather won’t be great (rain, strong winds, not great temperatures) in the early part of the week, but conditions will improve on Wednesday!

Current Conditions:
Overcast and breezy, current winds are 23 mph from the SE with gusts up to 30 mph. After raining a fair amount in the past couple hours, it doesn’t look like it’s raining currently, but it will later.

Short Term Forecast:
There is a deepening low-pressure center to your SW (currently over SW Missouri) that will be the cause of most of the weather you experience over the next couple of days. Temperatures will remain fairly mild until late Tues night/early Wed morning. Winds will weaken slightly overnight, but as the western edge of the low-pressure centers moves in, wind speeds will ramp up significantly and will remain intense though Wednesday night. The wind direction will also be changing from easterly to northerly by early Tuesday, which could potentially help? The low-pressure center will also be bringing rain, which will be moderate to heavy tonight through Tuesday morning, before tapering off through Wednesday, at which point skies should clear.

Long Term Forecast:
The low-pressure center will continue moving east and high pressure will build up in the region. Night time temperatures could still get cold, but daytime temperatures and winds will be milder and rain likely won’t occur.
