Day - Clouds and Fog

Friday, September 25th

Current Conditions: Any showers within the area should now have moved off to the east. Low clouds will linger overnight into Thursday morning with some partial clearing possible later in the day as the current trough weakens and moves away. The winds have been 10 – 15 mph from the Southeast and should relax by this evening. Expect temperatures to drop slightly into the high 50s overnight.

Short term forecast: The current forecast is calling for improving conditions through the end of the week with light southerly winds less than 10 mph and decreasing cloud cover, especially on Friday. Tomorrow morning you will likely experience low clouds and some fog as the current weak trough over the area weakens and pushes off towards the east. Temperatures in the area should reach the mid 70s or possibly upper 70s depending on when the clouds clear, with high temperatures on Friday and throughout the weekend reaching the upper 70s. Lows for tomorrow and throughout the weekend should remain in the mid to upper 50s. A weak upper level disturbance could bring a few more clouds and a very slight chance of a shower on Saturday afternoon or evening, but overall the conditions for the next few days should be very pleasant.

Long term forecast: For Sunday and Monday, conditions should be very similar with partly cloudy skies, Highs in the upper 70s, lows in the mid 50s, and weak southerly or southeasterly winds between 5 and 10 mph.
