OAR Northwest programs aim to motivate student learning, and the approach is to make students active participants in the learning process. OAR Northwest partners with the following institutions in curriculum and program development: Canadian Wildlife Federation, National Wildlife Federation, U.S. Geological Survey, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Weather Service, Slater Museum of Natural History, Foss Waterway Seaport, and representatives from University of Calgary, University of Puget Sound, University of Victoria, University of Washington, Seattle University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
