The Vessel will parade with other floats in the morning, and viewers will hear the following announcement:
OAR Northwest is a Seattle-based expedition ocean adventure rowing education organization. In 2006 the team rowed from New York to England. Ocean rowing expeditions leave no room for mistakes and much less for sleeping quarters on the 29-foot rowboat. Their vessel shows the confined quarters where the four-person team eats, sleeps and rows 24 hours per day. Follow online the expeditions including a circumnavigation of Vancouver Island and an Africa to South America. Participate in local OAR Northwest family education programs.
